My best friend married his soul-mate this weekend in Florida. Chris Webb and Stacey Porter said their vows in a beautiful villa along the Gulf Coast with a few dozen friends and family on hand. I’m happy I was able to witness it. Not only did I see two of the most beautiful people I know take a step towards creating a family, I also made several new friends.

Of course it figures that when I was out of town for nearly a week, the server ran into several problems. The host company performed an upgrade that totally shut down many of the systems on the sites I run. But at least everything seems to run smoothly now.

This week I hope to find time to post photos of my trip to Florida. The devastation from all the hurricanes was still obvious—boats sat on land hundreds of yards from water. One friend saw a large boat being lifted from treetops quite a distance from shore. Tattered fences, broken decks and shattered windows lined many streets.

And halfway into the weekend another tropical storm brewed in the Gulf, turning its path towards us. Still, I think everyone enjoyed their time in Florida.

Until next week… stay creative.
