cs_interrogation

cs_interrogation is a custom Counter-Strike map by Shawn Olson, a photojournalist and web developer from Columbus, Ohio, USA. It is a hostage map featuring many custom textures and sounds, including the intro beat to Ceramic by rock band Cringe.

Like many of my maps, Interrogation has a fairly complex layout with many levels--I like to make maps that are more than two-dimensional. You'll find yourself looking up and down in many of my maps--and Interrogation is no exception.

Installation

Installation is simple. Unzip all the contents of this folder to your cstrike folder. For example, you will unzip it to a directory similar to this:

C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/mySteamUserName/counter-strike/cstrike/

That should be all that you need to start playing this map. For dedicated servers, the address ought to be similar to the following:

C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/mySteamUserName/dedicated server/cstrike/

The above examples are for Steam versions running on Windows.

A mad scientist from Olson Empires has hired thugs to torture former employees by making them listen to psychotic music by Cow Eater.

Terrorists - Don't let the CTs save the hostages until the torture and brainwashing is finished.

Counter-Terrorists - Save your fellow countrymen from the mad scientists and terrorist thugs.

de_stonehenge: de_stonehenge is a custom bomb map set in the Mayan Ruins. While the real Stonehenge is in the UK, I thought that making it in a South American setting would be a neat twist.
de_tension: de_tension is a custom bomb map set in a South-West US desert canyon. Like many of my maps, tension has multiple levels and has a lot of complexity that caters to many playing styles.
de_weldonsquare: de_weldonsquare is a custom bomb map set in a Central Ohio apartment complex. It was my first full-blown CS map. While it never made it to final compile, it has been a longtime favorite on our gaming server. (It never got to my personal completion phase because of a hard-drive crash a couple years ago... so learn from my mistakes.)
