She fed them, but she would sit in her "screen house" that my dad built for her, and crotchet angels to stiffen and put on top of christmas trees, and daddy would just sit there with her, and they would tell me all about which hummers did what today, and how they fought, and what they did to keep ants away, and they knew just when the area's birds were going south (don't understand why they went even further south.. I live in NE Alabama) and they so enjoyed this activity!! This photo reminds me of that, that's why I am thanking you! Good work!!
