I read your thoughtful insights on educational dysfunction and decided to comment. I'm in the arduous process of initiating a co-creation learning project that will entail training teachers in a paradigm that organizes an educational environment around the affective domain as central to learning with cognitive domain as secondary. I ran a 5 year research study on this by actually doing what I'm talking about. The love of learning you mention is, indeed, innate to learning for life. It is natural to love to learn, to take in information for our evolvement AND enjoyment. Many educators have already noticed this phenomena. Why this is still ignored en-mass is the mystery. I've more to say, but I've a situation which is demanding my attention.

How nice it is of Sharon Quinn to share a bit of satire with us. Her comment is a splendid illustration of the inability of "educators" to even write in English. We are well on the way to another century of idiotic academic "constructs" cloaked in educationist gibberish.
