We have lived with insurance for so long we think it is normal. It is a betting scam where we all have to bet against the house and I think we all know how stupid that is. The insurance companies know all the odds and have all the data. If they are willing to insure you for something rest assured it probably won't happen and if by some wild chance it does you can also rest assured that the fine print somewhere will keep them from paying up. I love the thought of betting that I will die before I'm 75, of course the odds are I won't so they plead with me to protect my loved ones in case something happens to me but when I actually get to an age when the odds are I will die then the coverage is either dropped or reduced to part of the actual amount already paid in. Medical insurance is even worse. If we want to fix our system then insurance reform is not the answer...doing away with insurance is.

hey...we're from sulphur, la. next to lake charles. my dad found one just a couple of days ago when he discovered a big pile of what looked like rabbit droppings. not having seen a rabbit recently...he simply looked up and it was in a gum tree next to his shed. stretched out....it's over nine inches long. it's currently in my possession to find out what it was. we heard the same thing...that they were from the east coast. wonder what they're doin this far west.

I was told it was a horned tomato worm. Thanks for your site and info now I know what it really is called (HHD).

We found one of these yesterday, Sept 5, 2009 on a homeschool trip to Blue Jay Point in Raleigh, NC. It took a while to get the courage to pick it up, but no one knew what it was until the park ranger went and looked it up. Anyone know when they burrow? Ours was about 5 inches long.

I had a friend who did Kirby sweeper sales and he went door-to-door demonstrating the sweeper. It also does shampooing? I think it is an awesome machine, never seen anything like it. Not even the Rainbow's shampooer has a beater brushy are.
Traci is right though, they are crazyz . Anyone who can waltz into a strangers home is flippy, but I met a few of his co-workers and they all seem pretty harmless. They do like to put one of those sweepers into your home and will try very hard to do so.
The price tag on it kinda hit me hard, "sticker shock" was actually "price fried" for me! The payment plan option is very affordable tho. I love my machine very, very much.
The complaint you guys have about so much time spent is fairly wierd. My mate showed me how he did his presentation and it took 20mins. You guys must have been gettin some rookies. lol

I almost cycled over one of these while on vacation in Washington DC, on Rocky Creek Trail. I took a photo, and an expert at the Insect House in the Zoo was able to ID it for me. I was fascinated by it, and have never seen such a big caterpillar before. While I was sketching it on a postcard, it occured to me that it is pretty similar (except for the horns) to the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Has anyone else noticed the startling resemblance?

Hi,
I tried using this code to modify an imported stylesheet from another domain:
(in this case part of the stylesheet downloaded when you use the 'bing maps' API). Works fine in IE, but in firefox I get a security error:
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Security error" code: "1000" nsresult: "0x805303e8 (NS_ERROR_DOM_SECURITY_ERR)"
Do you know if there is a workaround for this? I am thinking perhaps it would be possible to clone the class into a inline stylesheet that overrides the imported one, and then modify that?

My uncle found one in the woods in northern Wisconsin. It is about 3 to 4 inches long from tail to head not counting the feelers. Is this considered a large one? Thank you for posting what they eat cause I plan on keeping it for a pet.If you want to contact me about the insect please feel to do so.

Stumbled onto this site from a Microsoft search (BING) after fruitless searches on Google (many dead or abandoned threads or just "reformatted in the end" solutions) EEEEK !!
Your batch file did exactly what it says and fixed the dreaded 0x8007000E, 14007. Outlook Express now works| Many thanks David

I, too, just found one of these. I live in CNY and my neighbor has always grown grapes, but Ive been here forever and never saw one of thiese. Huge about 1 1/2? long and just as wide-almost. Maybe its because we planted fruits and berries this year.
