Adams Family Portraits

These photos of David and Emily Adams were taken at their home on December 20, 2004. They are expecting a child, and they asked me to come out and get some pregnancy portraits.

You would think that a ten-year veteran of photography would always be prepared for his shoots. Well I have to admit I embarrassed myself on this shoot. After nearly half an hour of shooting we were prepared to finish the session. I turned my camera onto review mode to see a horrifying phrase blinking on the monitor—NO CF CARD! I had forgotten to replace the memory card… and since I had removed the restriction for shooting without a flash card… the camera snapped away.

So let this be a lesson to all those photographers out there that don’t want to suffer the same embarrassment—remember to have your memory card in before you shoot.

Luckily for me, Emily and David were gracious enough to sit through the whole session all over again.
