It's been a very hectic week for me. On top of trying to finish projects on time, our family has had to battle another round with strokes. My Dad (Donald Olson) suffered a mild stroke recently. It's scary, since we lost Mom last year due to complications from strokes.

For anyone who has yet to see Dad's artwork, take a moment and look at some of his wildlife art, scenic paintings or his custom clocks.

I'm optimistic that he will get through this. He's cheery and alert, though his speech is still slurred. He will likely be in the hospital another day.

Music

I want to promote some of my friends. This weekend two of the bands in Central Ohio I do a lot of work for are having Halloween Parties. Noise Auction is having a show tonight at the Alrosa Villa. And tomorrow night Liquid 6teen is having a Halloween Party at the Crown.

New Releases

I want to continue to promote CandleWatch which just hit the market. My friend Greg Hart invented this jar candle accessory.

Finally, Kevin Lottes has announced the upcoming release of his book First Person Last. Projected release of this collection of poems, short stories and monologues is March 5, 2005.
