Don Olson in Hospital

I had to take Dad (Donald Olson) to the hospital last night because he had slurred speech and the right side of his face was sagging.

Doctors West immediately admitted him and performed various tests. Most of the tests came back positive, including an MRI that showed no new damage to his brain.

He's staying positive and alert, but he will likely have to stay in the hospital at least through Saturday for observation and further testing.

There isn't an official prognosis yet, but the doctor's suspiscion is that Dad had a Mini Stroke; if so, they tentatively predicted the results of the incident are only temporary.

He's currently in Room 414 at Doctors West Hospital. Friends, family and fans of his work are encouraged to send him a get well email.
