Waiting

Alone at home with no one here.
I start to feel no one is near.
I miss your voice in the halls.
I miss your pictures on the walls.
I wish you were not on the phone.
I want you with me so i'm not alone.
I could walk down and see you there.
When I'm with you it could be anywhere.
I feel that I need you by my side.
If I push you will run and hide.
I sit and think of all that was done.
Do I have an excuse? No, there isn't one.
Saying I'm sorry is all I can do.
Blame the right person and that's not you
A person can change, their feelings be real.
Sitting and waiting for the heart to heal
You should know by now that I am true.
Just look at all I've done for you.
You know I love you and that I care.
But do you know I will always be there?
