Missing You

Oh how I miss seeing you every night before I close my eyes.
I miss waking in the morning with you by my side.
Waiting and wanting are all I can do.
I know I have to be patient and give you time.
Sometimes it is hard and I feel like I am all alone.
Thinking of you with your arms around me.
You cover me with your body like a blanket.
When I am in your arms there is nothing I can't do.
I feel safe and out of harm's way.
Your lips kiss me tenderly on my forehead.
You tighten your grip and give me a tender but firm hug.
In the end you will be there I just have to wait.
In the end our love will be stronger than before.
I know because mine already is.
