The Gift

Having a child is a gift from above, giving you someone when there is no one to love.

Holding that baby next to your heart, letting them know that you will never part.

Show that child how much you care, without knowing they will be able to share.

Whether you have a girl or a boy, having a child will bring you so much joy.

Be patient and remember you must be kind, even if you think you might lose your mind.

The toddler that comes from the baby so small, will make everyone laugh by doing nothing at all.

Be proud of them and make them feel smart, give them something to be proud of like singing or art.

Encourage them in all that they do, they will come back in the future to say "thank you".

As time goes by day by day, make sure you show them you care in every possible way.

Take pride in them and always show them love, after all they are a gift from above.
