Love Hurts and Feelings are Hard to Show

Sometimes really bad things need to happen in order to feel that feeling that only so few in this world can say that they truly feel. The road to happiness is not an easy one. Sometimes it takes losing the one you love to realize how much they mean. There are alot of obstacles to overcome, but when you find the one you will know. The feeling of wanting to do anything for them just to bring a smile to their face. Wanting to make them happy, not caring if you are doing something that you are not interested in. Doing the things that make them happy. After all, being in love is not being in a relationship for personal gratification. It is giving with no expectation of anything in return. You know what I mean, the feeling of hearing your partner laugh when you know the joke really wasn't all that funny. The feeling of having their arms around you when you need it most and don't have to ask. The feeling of not giving your opinion when you know all they want to do is talk. It is a special feeling that only few really feel. When you are in love, no matter what the circumstance you have to grab on with both hands and never let go.

The feelings that one has to give to another are sometimes very hard to express. If you are anything like me.....feelings are better shown than said. I have a problem with saying what I feel all the time. I get so wrapped up in my feelings sometimes that my words do not come out right. I know how I feel, but can not say. For instance: I may want to spend time with the man I love, but because of something that is happening around me it is hard to be cheerful about it. It does not change the way I feel about my man, but it does make it hard to show him. When I seem upset it does not mean that I am upset with my man....but it does affect the way I act toward him.

Having a friendship with your partner and being able to understand how the other one feels....that is what makes true love. Being in love is one of the most treasureful events in a person's life. Having an open and honest relationship is what will make your love and relationship last. I am no expert, but I have made mistakes in the past and have learned some very valuable lessons from them. I am in love with a man that makes me happy and makes everyday worth waking up for.
