The Periodical Cicadas are starting to die away in the area... but they are still making plenty of noise in rural wooded areas in Central Ohio. I was fortunate enough to visit my friend Greg Hart a couple weeks back to get some new Periodical Cicada photos at night--when you're more likely to find them climbing out of the ground or molting.

North Carolina graphic designer Anthony Tran sent me an link to his Cicada Comics.

In other news, I've finally loaded the JavaScript-driven online version of The Black Curse. It is not totally finished, and currently only works on recent versions of Internet Explorer... but test it out if you are into gaming.

I've got two new websites launching later this week... after those are out of the way I'll be going out to get some fresh insect photos. If anyone in Central Ohio has ideas for a good locale, feel free to let me know.
