The band scene here in Central Ohio is brewing lately. Several of the bands I've known for a while are preparing to unleash themselves on the scene. Among those are freshly retouched Soma and Liquid 6teen. This newsletter includes samples of promo shots I did for both bands. Liquid 6teen did a "secret" show the other day in preparation for their new onslaught on the scene. Also preparing to hit the scene are the remnants of Cringe. Three former Cringe members (Tommy, Ryan and Butch) make up three-fifths of the new band Noise Auction. I had an opportunity to hear them a couple weeks back, and all I can say is that I'm happy to hear Tom Cline's voice and Ryan Wilder's keyboards back together again.

Another band preparing to get in the market is Philo. Currently seeking a bass player and a vocalist... Philo is without a doubt one of the most uniquely talented musical concepts that has emerged lately. With the obsessively perfectionist hand of my good friend Corbin... the music of Philo can only be described as phenomenal. It's sent goosebumps down my spine. If you know top-notch bass players or vocalists... let them know that Philo is looking for complimentary talent.

I've been too busy with work to add too much creative work to the site, but I anticipate some new artwork soon.

One huge disaster that befell last week was a hard-drive failure that destroyed several gigabytes of photos that had not yet been backed up to DVD. There are several thousand pictures I lost in the fiasco... and it was devastating for me. So I want to remind anyone who gets lazy about backing up their creative work--don't procrastinate too long. It was, in all likelihood, a failing power supply in my computer that caused my disaster. There are a million other things that can happen. Don't repeat my mistake.
