Email Security Upgrade 1

This site has always had a certain level of protection against spam--visitors to the site do not have access to member email addresses. But visitors can always send emails to members through the site.

Creative Arts also permitted visitors to send emails from the site to non-members. While this feature was convenient for visitors wanting to share the site with friends elsewhere, it also made the site a potential tool for unscrupulous spammers. For almost two years the system went unabused... but on February 16 an abuse occured.

Because of that abuse, visitors may no longer send emails to non-members through the Creative Arts Mail Room. Further upgrades will limit the site email further.
