Mars Contest

As almost everyone knows, NASA successfully landed a rover named Spirit on Mars back on January 3. In spirit of this exploration, I am launching the "Spirit of Mars Graphic Contest". Using actual images from Spirit (NASA press release images and Mars Panorama)... see what kind of graphic representation you can composit in the graphic software of your choice.

Deadlines for the contest are January 31. Either post them onto the site or email them to smo@shawnolson.net. There is no cash price for the contest, but I will send the best three to NASA and see if they post them on their site.

In other news, I've upgraded some form verification on the site to restrict certain keywords to limit companies from advertising their products on the guestbooks. Please report any problems this upgrade might cause.
