Site Updates - Drop-Down Menus

I've added some updates to the Artistic Network to increase visual appeal and ease of use. Most prominantly is the new header logo. I decided that it was time for a cooler look.

There is also a new drop-down menu system that brings viewers to a new page called "topics", listing all articles from a given topic in order of their submission, starting from the most recent submissions. The menu system works well in Microsoft Internet Explorer, but fails to work in Netscape Navigator. I have no intention of making the menu support Navigator.

Other recent updates make the site more Javascript dependant. Users cannot join the site or update their bios without Javascript-enabled browsers. Until this change there was no dependence on Javascript; but to remove the need to call the server for all validation, I've opted to require client-side Javascript for many site processes. Eventually all form field will utilize Javascript validation functions.
