SMO.net updates

This has been a pretty productive week for me. I have added two major features to the Shawn Olson Artistic Network website. I have added member guestbooks and a section for upcoming events.

The member guestbooks give Shawn Olson Artistic Network visitors a chance to communicate with members on the site. Each member of the site now has a guestbook that can be found on any page authored by that user. My guestbook is www.shawnolson.net/guest/1/0/0/.

NOTICE: All members ought to make a habit of logging into the site before signing guestbooks. This is especially important when signing your own guestbook. If you sign your own guestbook with your name without first logging in, the site will display your name as a "fake". You can remove the "fake" by logging in and deleting the entry... but it's best to just log in before signing guestbooks.

Some members have their own icons. If you sign a guestbook and have no icon, you can request an icon simply by emailing me.

The events section has been developed but not fully implemented on every area of the site. It will become more functional by next week.

The site has been converted to a fully object-oriented site. While this is something that won't affect the visual side of the site, it does affect performance.
