I started making my personal website many years ago. At first I knew nothing about HTML. I designed all of my pages using graphics software such as CorelDRAW. Once I realized the limitations of such an approach to web design, I enlisted the aide of friends such as Jeremy Martin and Andrew Penry and Jeremy Gilbey.

Over the years, I decided to heed the advice of friends and learn HTML. Despite my doubts regarding my ability to learn HTML, I delved into the subject. It didn't take me long to learn that HTML is not actually very hard to learn.

I soon went on to learn XHTML, cascading style sheets and basic Javascript. Now I am learning PHP and its database partner MySQL. This site is my journey into that education.
