Cringe, February 21, 2003
By the time Cringe came on stage there was something subpar about the sound system. But despite the technical difficulties, Cringe put on a great performance. With several guest singers coming on stage to accompany Tommy on vocals, Tommy quipped that it was the Cringe Karaoke night.
This was the first time I've been able to get some close and wide shots of Cringe in concert because it was the first time the fans were separated from the stage with a barricade. While it probably disturbed some of the fans pushing up to get a close glimpse of their players, it made my day. It was great, except some guy in the audience threw his hat up on stage and landed on my gear... not to mention the fact that sweat was flying everywhere and splashed on my lense.
