Our longnose gar, which we have named Moby, has now grown to more than a foot in length. His stripes have all but faded away. In fact, the stripes on his belly are now completely gone. The "extra" (see young longnose photos) tail has merged with his main tail. He devours a few dozen feeder fish every week now.
