Advances on SMO.net

The SMO.net now allows users to modify the cutlines for their image, or to delete images from their articles.

This advance is a great stride forward. With this aspect of site functions finished, the SMO.net is nearly complete.

Other additions to the site include a few new graphics that indicate user groups and invite non-users to join the SMO.net.

Another advancement on the site is the addition of links for users to edit their pages directly from browsing the site. An author who is logged in to the SMO.net may simply browse his articles and go directly to the editing page or image adding page through the links at the top right of the window.

The site is 99% done. The next project will involve automatic emails that send users their passwords when passwords are changed or forgotten. A SMO.net user-group newsletter may be in the future.

Another area of near-future development is a Classmates.Com-like high school search for the site.
