June 23, 2005 Newsletter
I don’t have a lot of news to offer this week, but there have been some new things added to the site of note. First, my father Donald Olson has finished some new artwork. Today he posted samples of a couple new deer sculptures; later in the week he will add some more of his work.
My good friend Andrew Penry posted his first ever Counter-Strike map called de_concerhall_rc1. The map features the music of Noise Auction. It has turned into a regular favorite among our players.
I also loaded the final version of csde_tension, a robust remake of csde_campside. I have now retired from making Counter-Strike maps (where’s my pension?). The next map I make will probably be a Counter-Strike: Source map.

Finally, the scope of the New Artistic Network is growing. Every day new members join and new work is added regularly. If you haven’t looked at the new site, think about spending some time to see all the wonderfully talented artists that are now on that site.
