My Son
A gift from above was sent to me-
A son named Yahshua, who is my pride and joy.
He rips and runs through the house, he makes a mess wherever he goes,
He's still in diapers, though he's three years old. His mother jokes that he'll be in college before he's potty-trained.
We don't mind however, because inside I don't think we really want him to grow up-
The innocence of childhood, and the love that he shows to us is something that becomes tainted when a child grows into the troubles of the adult world.
While he remains young, I remain young with him, and that is what I love about him.
He's my boy, and I love him.
