We’ve got a few new members to welcome. Among those are talented photographers Ken Tam and Tino Triste, computer arts student Danielle Hager and illustrator Andres Chung.

There are a few new features being developed on the site. I’m not ready to really promote them until they are all finished… but any members are free to play with them whenever they log in.

I am planning photo shoots for this summer. One of the series of photos I am planning is on aquatic crustaceans. Among the creatures I have access to are Ohio’s indigenous fairy shrimp, scuds and crayfish. I would love to find some rare species. One species I want to find is a clam shrimp.

I once met with Dr. Stephen Weeks, an expert on crustaceans at the University of Akron. He informed me that all clam shrimp found in Ohio would is a valuable find. So if any of the adventurers who receive this email know of any spots to find them, please let me know.

That’s it for this week. Have a productive and creative week.
Shawn
