Several updates hit the site over the last few weeks. Among the biggest additions to the site was the inclusion of the Slideshow. The general slideshow rotates through art, photos, graphics and cartoons by multiple site authors. Also, each member’s bio page will display slideshow links for specific authors.

Other miscellaneous updates include an update to the site Terms & Conditions. The main change is the inclusion of phrases reminding users to only post their own original work, as well as a term to allow this site to use images added in promotional advertisements.

There is also an update to the FAQ page relating to adding images to the site. Only members can see the page while logged in; the page includes specific details on loading images.

In other news, I am compiling a printed guide on concert photography that will go on sale sometime in March. It will include tips and techniques for photographing events in low-light situations. I may sell an e-book version of the guide as well.

I have also been buying equipment to start printing a small magazine. I don’t yet have the time to devote to the project, but sometime in the next couple of months I hope to launch the magazine. The theme of the magazine is parallel to this site—creative arts. It will feature creative writing, poetry, essays, art, photography and cartoons.
