Into Clean Air
Battered and down in a cold valley
All seemed to be a world of loss.
Walking on stones and heartless bones
A traveler feels all alone.
Too many heavy drinks at night
Too many selfish and greedy wants;
Taking this valley is a mistake
That every man seems to make.
But at the end it’s clear to see
That we all have to live our lives;
For sorrow we should not lose all hope
Crisp and sweet air waits beyond the slope.
All seemed to be a world of loss.
Walking on stones and heartless bones
A traveler feels all alone.
Too many heavy drinks at night
Too many selfish and greedy wants;
Taking this valley is a mistake
That every man seems to make.
But at the end it’s clear to see
That we all have to live our lives;
For sorrow we should not lose all hope
Crisp and sweet air waits beyond the slope.
